Try the rub I used
Silly Bubba’s Carolina Gold
Base Rub:
1/4 cup Kosher Salt
1/4 cup Sweet Paprika
2 Tbsp Black Pepper (coarse grind, 16-mesh)
2 Tbsp Granulated Garlic
2 Tbsp Granulated Onion
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Mustard Powder
1 tsp Ground Celery Seed (optional)
Add These to Make It Carolina Gold Style:
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Ground Mustard
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp White Pepper
1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
